SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS SYF established two different scholarship programs in 2000, to support the academic endeavors of high school youth throughout the nation. These programs are the Community Scholarship Program and the Education Resource Center Scholarship Program.
Since May of 2000, SYF has helped 2,776 students from 42 states pursue their educational ambitions through monetary scholarships. To date, SYF has awarded $8.5 million in scholarships to deserving high school youth across the country!
All scholarship recipients are selected by a third-party administrator, Scholarship America Inc. Scholarships are based on financial need, academic performance, leadership skills, participation in school and community activities.
